Under California election laws, the top two candidates with the most votes regardless of party will advance to the runoff — but for local offices, no party affiliation is listed on your ballot.
That’s why the San Diego Democratic Party has officially endorsed just one candidate: Kyle Krahel – and urges all Democrats to vote for only him so they don’t forfeit the seat to the Republicans.
In the San Diego County Board of Supervisor race, there is a high risk that the ONLY endorsed Democrat candidate will be completely shut out of the runoff because Democrat voters are splitting the vote. If that happens, Democrats will forfeit the seat to the Republicans!
FIGHTING TRUMP
"I don’t like the game Trump Republicans are forcing us to play, but I refuse to let them play it unopposed. The path to protecting democracy runs right through San Diego County."
STOP ICE RAIDS
"Protect our communities from unlawful attacks by rogue agencies like ICE coming in and stealing people off the streets and scaring children."
CLIMATE ACTION
"Our climate crisis has put us on a path to an unlivable planet. We need a significant reduction in our emissions by 2030."
If Democrat Voters Split Their Votes, Republicans Win This Seat by Default
